In 2018, the business was formally registered with CIPC as a private company. From 2020, like most businesses, the Covid-19 pandemic had a negative effect on their bottom line, but MacTavish Clothing took the opportunity to diversify their service offering to include leather goods. Not only did they manage to stay afloat during this turbulent time but found that there was a large market for leather goods.
